"Rosa Barnard Hicks died on 28 July 1928. According to John Cooper she actually died on 28 July 1972. One of her elders sisters, Kate Ellen Hicks, died in 1928, so that might account for that date. JC believes his date is correct and says it probably came from Anne Toole (nee Lyster)."

"It says Dorothy Anne Hicks was born on 11 April 1882. I have a copy of a birthday book which belonged to Janet Hicks, one of Dorothy's elder sisters. It was copied for me in longhand a few years ago by Janet Hick's grandson, Christopher Johnson. It gives Dorothy's DOB as 21 April 1883. My third cousin John Cooper (descended from Herbert Timperley Hick's wife's sister, Emma Archer) gives the same date and assures me it's correct."3Pedigree charts make by Robert Esgar abt 1991.
