HELLO ESGARS!
The Esgar Reunion is only a month away! If anyone who is planning to attend and hasn't made their motel reservations yet, please do so ASAP as there are other events going on in the area.
There will be a catered dinner at the Church on Saturday night, June 16th. and the cost will be $12 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. We will need a head count. Afterwards, we will hold the Esgar business meeting. Be prepared to tell about what is new with your family. Also, bring any pictures, announcements, etc. for Bev, the Historian, to add to the scrapbook.
Esgar dues are $10 per family unit. Please send the money for the dues and the dinner to Frederick Esgar, P. O. Box 400, Wiley, CO 81092. And since this is only being sent to the "oldest" generation of Esgar's, please pass this information along to your kids and grandkids who will be attending.
There are several activities scheduled for Hay Days during Saturday at the High School and an Ice Cream Social at the Church. One of the events will be a Floating Duck Contest. For $5 you can buy a duck and if your duck wins, you win too xxx a Las Vegas trip. They are only selling 100 ducks so if you are interested, send in the $5 to Frederick with your other monies and stipulate what each is for.
