Greetings from Texas!
I am writing to share the information I have collected for possible hotels for you to stay in during the San Antonio family reunion.
The weekend of the reunion is July 9-11. We will be hosting a "meet and greet" at our hotel suite on Friday afternoon at 5pm.
The suite will be at the Marriott Riverwalk under the name of Roger Ireland (my husband). Saturday morning will be the meeting
at a place to be determined. A continental breakfast buffet will be available. This will leave all day Saturday for free time.
Saturday evening we will be having dinner on a riverboat for those who are interested.
More specifics will be sent to you as the time draws closer.
Now, for the hotel information....These are a few of the places to stay that I recommend. They are all safe, clean and offer different ammenities. All are walking distance from the riverwalk:

Hi Esgars!
After much discussion, we have decided to have the Esgar Family Reunion
this summer (2004)! The plans are as follows:
We will be having the event in San Antonio, Texas the weekend of July
9th. We changed the weekend so that we would have less crowds and
better airfares since it is not a holiday.
We will be hosting the meeting down by the riverwalk so any hotel in
that area will work nicely. There will be an email with hotel recommendations
later this month.
Festivities will begin on Friday, July 9 at a welcome reception in our
hotel suite. They will continue with a Saturday morning family meeting
at a place to be announced. Saturday evening we will have an optional
family dinner you can attend. There will be a list of activities
in the area that familys can enjoy while staying in historical San
Antonio.
We look forward to seeing all of you! Please let me know if you plan
to attend.
